This one was deemed too static, though I still like something about it. I wouldn't have made Vampi as casual as she looks here, and I'd arrange the candles in a more interesting way. I probably just like the heavy black shadow. Anyway, this shot's out-- I better come up with something good or it's back to the chump seats with me!
And the winner! Even though this is the crudest sketch with the color scheme not as fleshed out, the Woods scene was deemed most evocative. Now I have parameters where I can start getting focused and refine an image.
