There are some very good ones out there, but not nearly as many as there should be, if we'd like children to become literate (and love comicbooks).

Li'l Legends is a project I'm working on with writer Chip Carter to help do something about this lack of books for new readers. Here you can see some of the character designs. I'll keep info posted as this develops.
